Hossam Abd El-Magid, a player for the Egyptian national team, revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his professional move to Bulgaria.

Hossam Abd El-Magid made his first appearance wearing the jersey of his new Bulgarian club, Ludogorets, last Saturday as a substitute.
Hossam Abd El-Magid told Al-Nahar Channel: "I have been seeking to play professionally in Europe for over three years and I am not considering returning to the Egyptian league."
He added, "The more players who turn professional, the more it ultimately benefits the Egyptian national team."
Abd El-Magid emphasized, "I hope Zamalek fans will excuse the players during this current period because they did not participate in a preparation camp and are in an enviable situation."
He clarified, "Zamalek players are up to the responsibility and have carried the team's burden throughout the past period."
Regarding his replacement in the defender position, he answered, "Zamalek does not rely on any single player, whether it is Hossam Abd El-Magid or someone else. I believe that Osama is a promising defender and will soon join the national team."
He continued, "Continuing with Moataz Gamal as the team's coach is a correct decision because he knows the team very well."
When asked about the World Cup in America, he said: "We could have reached a further stage in the World Cup and qualified for the quarter-finals because we possess several talents in the national team."
He added, "Hossam Hassan's enthusiasm and spirit reach us during training sessions and camps. He told us that he would not go to the World Cup just to participate in three matches and then return to Egypt. His message to us has always been that we can defeat any team."
He revealed, "Hossam Hassan did not speak to us personally about Lionel Messi because he believes that talking about him repeatedly might create a psychological barrier for us."
Hossam Abd El-Magid concluded his statements by saying, "Mohamed Salah removed the pressure from the players on the field and has many roles within the game."
Ludogorets drew with Slavia Sofia with one goal each in the sixth round of the Bulgarian league.
Ludogorets will play its next match against Spartak Varna on Sunday, August 30.
Hossam Abd El-Magid joined Ludogorets this summer coming from Zamalek.
Hossam Abd El-Magid played 171 matches with Zamalek, scoring 15 goals and providing one assist.
With Zamalek, he won three Egyptian Premier League titles, two Egypt Cup titles, one African Super Cup title, and one CAF Confederation Cup title.
