The international defender joined the Bulgarian champion coming from Zamalek in a deal worth 1.5 million euros.
Hossam Abdel Majeed, Ludogorets player, said in statements to africafoot: "Every player dreams of moving to Europe, and Ludogorets was the closest option for me. I see this as a good step. I have to work hard, and the rest is in God's hands. I just have to strive".
He added, "Within a year or a year and a half at most, I will take a much bigger step, and as I said, everything is in God's hands".
He continued, "I made the decision to join the team long before the World Cup; during the tournament I was not a starter, and if I had played things would have been different, but I am working hard to develop and become a starter during the 2030 World Cup".
He concluded, "I preferred Ludogorets over the Gulf offers because it was the best and most serious, even though the Gulf offers were financially stronger, because my goal is to join a more famous league and contribute to my country's success, honor Zamalek my childhood club, and pave the way for young Zamalek players to become professionals in Europe".
It was learned by FilGoal.com that Zamalek stipulated receiving one million and 500 thousand euros paid in one lump sum immediately upon signing the contracts, in addition to an additional 300 thousand in incentives linked to the team winning the league or cup as well as participation in European competitions.
Ludogorets will participate in the European Conference qualifiers next season.
