Mohamed Abdel Gaber, agent of Ahmed Reda, Al Ahly club midfielder, confirmed that the player is close to staying with the Red team.
Ahmed Reda returned to Al Ahly again after the end of his loan with National Bank of Egypt in the past season.
Mohamed Abdel Gaber said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "Al Ahly refused Ahmed Reda's departure; there are several clubs that requested to sign him, such as National Bank of Egypt and Al Masry Port Said."
He concluded: "The closest at the present time is Ahmed Reda's stay with Al Ahly in the next season."
Ahmed Reda participated in 20 matches with National Bank of Egypt in the expired season, but he neither assisted nor scored.
Ahmed Reda joined Al Ahly in January 2025, coming from Petrojet club.
The 26-year-old participated in 21 matches with Al Ahly in various tournaments and competitions, where he scored 3 goals and did not assist.
