Moroccan player Ashraf Bencharki opened Al-Ahly's scoring in their match against ZED, held this Friday evening in the Egyptian Premier League.
The match between Al-Ahly and ZED took place at Cairo International Stadium as part of the second round of the Premier League.
Al-Ahly had started the Premier League with an exciting comeback victory against Sharqia Enppi by a score of 3-2, while ZED drew goalless with Wadi Degla.
In the 21st minute, Bencharki put Al-Ahly ahead against ZED.
The goal came after Al-Ahly players pressed on the ball, which reached Marwan Atia; he dribbled forward and passed to Ashraf Bencharki, who received it and shot low past Ali Lotfi's left side into the net.
