Hani Said, the sporting director of Pyramids FC, emphasized the importance of achieving a positive result against Kenya's Gor Mahia at the start of the team's CAF Champions League campaign, stressing the need to capitalize on the away first leg before the return match.

Pyramids will visit Kenya's Gor Mahia at 3:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday, at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, for the first leg of the preliminary round of the continental tournament.

Hani Said stated in remarks via the Pyramids FC media center: "The beginning is always crucial against Gor Mahia of Kenya, and God willing, we will deliver a strong performance and secure a favorable result that benefits us in the return leg."

He added: "We know we are facing a good team, but what matters most is that Pyramids players are in top form; if our players are performing well, it makes no difference whom we play or who we face."

He continued: "God willing, may He grant us success and we return with a win, and I hope the players are in their best condition."

The Pyramids sporting director noted that the team has now gained significant experience in handling African competition atmospheres, explaining: "We have become accustomed to playing conditions in Africa, and I believe we have moved past that stage. We have been participating in the CAF Champions League for years, and I think we have overcome the challenge of playing away from home."

Hani Said concluded his remarks by affirming that securing victory is Pyramids' priority at this stage of the tournament, saying: "In these matches, gaining the result is more important than the performance. Pyramids has won the tournament before, and I wish us success."
