Mohamed Hani, the Egyptian national team player, was keen to support the fans, following the farewell from the 2026 World Cup competitions after the loss to the Argentine national team.
The Egyptian national team bid farewell to the 2026 World Cup from the round of 16, with a defeat to the Argentine national team, by three goals to two, in the match that brought the two teams together, on Tuesday evening, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the city of Atlanta.
Mohamed Hani confirmed, through his personal account on the "Facebook" platform, his pride and honor in Egypt and its people, emphasizing that belonging to the homeland is not linked to the results of matches but remains constant in all circumstances.
Hani posted on his "Facebook" platform account the following: "Egypt today... Egypt tomorrow... Egypt every day Egypt in defeat before victory".
The right-back of the Pharaohs added: "Egypt came... and the Egyptians came... then history came, and before the eyes of the whole world... the Egyptians passed from here".
It is worth noting that the match between the Egyptian national team and its Argentine counterpart, in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, witnessed widespread controversy, due to a number of refereeing decisions taken by the French referee François Letexier.
