Major General Ashraf Nassar, President of Al Ahly Bank Club, revealed the completion of the contract with Ahmed Al-Ahmar, the handball legend, to strengthen the club's team ranks in preparation for the new season.
Ahmed Al-Ahmar had announced the end of his career with Zamalek Club after the end of last season's competitions, after long years he spent inside the White Castle, during which he achieved many championships and achievements.
Ashraf Nassar said in special statements to "Yalla Koora": "We have completed the contract with Ahmed Al-Ahmar to strengthen the ranks of the handball team at the club in the coming period, for one season."
He added: "Contracting with Ahmed Al-Ahmar is a very big step, as he is one of the handball legends, and he possesses great experiences that will form a strong addition to the team."
The President of Al Ahly Bank concluded his statements by saying: "Ahmed Al-Ahmar will be like a leader for the team, and we expect a lot from him in the coming period, and we hope that he will be a strong addition to the club."
