All eyes will now be on Barcelona's rising talent Hamza Abdel Karim, regarded as the last hope for maintaining an Egyptian presence in the Champions League.

The 18-year-old player transferred from Al-Ahly to Barcelona and is included in the Catalan club's La Liga squad.

This should facilitate his inclusion in Barcelona's European squad, although this matter remains undecided for now.
