Hamdi Fathi, Al-Wakrah Qatari club player, confirmed that he knew about Ahmed Sayed Zizo's transfer from Zamalek to the traditional rival Al-Ahly.
Hamdi Fathi said, in television statements via "On Sport" channel: "I knew about Zizo joining Al-Ahly, with respect to everyone, anyone would wish that especially since you were going to play in the Club World Cup and this is a historic matter".
He continued: "Currently, professionalism is more prevalent than loyalty, and every club must appreciate its players so that they are able to benefit it, therefore the matter has become professional".

When asked, if a player in your same team gets a higher salary than you, would it affect your level?, he replied: "This is each person's livelihood, if I receive a lower amount, I will strive to get a big number, and social media affected Al-Ahly in the money story".
He revealed: "Al-Ahly will be affected by Trezeguet's departure and replacing him will be difficult because he had an outstanding season, and Amr El-Soulia and Ali Maaloul deserved to play in the World Cup, and I was saddened for Maaloul because he was a terrifying left-back and gave a lot to Al-Ahly, and El-Soulia would have benefited Al-Ahly for another season".
He continued: "No left-back like Maaloul will come in Al-Ahly's history, we used to tell him in matches not to go back, because in front he will either score or create a goal".
When asked if Mosimane, Al-Ahly's former coach, was disliked?, he replied: "Mosimane had statements (that made people turn against him) and we lost the league with him but we won two African Champions League titles with him".
Regarding the loss to Sundowns, he commented: "We didn't understand what happened against Sundowns, the team's condition was bad against them".
He continued: "We were wronged by playing the African final against Wydad in one match on the opponent's ground, and CAF waited for Wydad's qualification to decide to hold the match in Morocco, and if we faced them away from their home we would have won".
When asked if he wishes to end his career at Al-Ahly?, he concluded: "I wish but the matter is difficult because I want to continue in Qatar".
