Hamada Sadek, the head coach of USM Alger, apologized to his fans for his team's 1-0 defeat to ES Ben Aknoun in the first round of the Algerian football league, noting that the fans' noise prevented his instructions from reaching his players.
Hamada Sadek said in the press conference: "We were more dangerous in many periods of the match, as we were able to reach the goal, but our finishing was not good, and the goal came from a defensive error."
He continued: "After the goal, there was a significant drop in the players' performance. The goal came at a critical time, making it harder for the players to come back."
He added: "I couldn't convey my instructions to the players because of the fans' noise. I spoke with the substitutes who came on about pressing from the front, but time was short, and the goal came at a crucial moment."
He concluded: "The return of experienced players in the coming stages will help us improve our finishing in front of the goal. I am sad and apologize to the fans, and God willing, we will fix our mistakes in the coming period."
