Celtic is preparing to face Austrian LASK on Wednesday, August 19, in the qualifying playoff for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
The first leg will be played next Wednesday at Celtic Park Stadium, while Haitham Hassan's new team will play the return leg on August 25 in Austria.
Celtic had announced the signing of Haitham Hassan, who signed for the next four years until 2030, for 6 million pounds sterling in addition to 3 million in additional bonuses and incentives linked to performance level.

According to the Scottish "Celtsarehere", Celtic has made active moves in the transfer market by signing players including Haitham Hassan to support coach Martin O'Neill's team.
Haitham Hassan will join his team's squad for the UEFA Champions League, and the club still has time to make adjustments to its squad before the first leg against LASK, as well as register additional players before the deadline on Tuesday evening.
