Via Btolat

Press reports revealed that the former Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is considering a decision amid the major crisis engulfing the English club after it was officially found guilty by the Premier League.

The Premier League issued an official statement last Tuesday announcing that Manchester City had been found guilty on 114 of the 115 charges related to breaches of financial regulations between 2009 and 2018.

The nature of the sanctions to be imposed on Manchester City has not yet been determined, but press reports suggest the situation could escalate to the point of expelling the team from the Premier League, or even from professional football entirely.

The "City Extra" network, citing "RealTolmie," specialists in Manchester City affairs, reported that sources within the club have hinted that Pep Guardiola is considering attending the team's next match at the "Etihad Stadium."

It clarified that Guardiola informed Manchester City officials of his desire to be present with his squad, hence he is weighing the aforementioned decision.

Manchester City will face their opponent Liverpool at "Anfield" on Sunday, October 11, before hosting Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, October 14, in the second round of the Champions League league phase, followed by a match against Ipswich at the same stadium the following Saturday.

Manchester City currently tops the Premier League table with 15 points, a perfect record after five rounds.
