Pep Guardiola, the former Manchester City manager, broke his silence and spoke for the first time about the crisis currently facing the English club, which involves serious accusations against the Sky Blues for breaching Premier League financial rules.
The Premier League confirmed in an official statement issued yesterday, Tuesday, that Manchester City has been found guilty of all charges brought against the club, involving breaches of Premier League financial regulations between the 2009/2010 and 2017/2018 seasons.
It was reported that Manchester City had entered into fictitious contracts to conceal the true extent of spending with its commercial partners, in order to inflate the club's revenues and reduce costs.
