Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, the former manager of English club Manchester City, broke his silence regarding the accusations leveled against the English club.
The Premier League announced that an independent commission found Manchester City guilty of all breaches related to violating the competition's financial rules over nine seasons, in addition to finding them guilty on three out of four charges concerning failure to cooperate with the league's investigation.
Manchester City issued an official statement confirming its innocence regarding the accusations brought by the Premier League.
Guardiola's message
Guardiola said via his personal Instagram account: "I want every Manchester City fan to know that I am here, more than ever. I have always been and will always be supporting my club, its owner, its chairman, Ferran, the players, the staff, Enzo, and you, our wonderful fans."
The former Man City coach concluded: "Let me assure you: we will overcome this ordeal together... I love you all."
Manchester City intends to appeal the decision, stating its objection to the commission's findings and insisting on the existence of evidence proving its position.
