Al Ahly Club has sent a request to the League of Clubs to bring in foreign referees for its matches against Zamalek and Pyramids.
FilGoal.com has learned that Al Ahly sent a letter to the League of Clubs requesting the appointment of foreign referees from the Egyptian Football Association to officiate the two matches against Zamalek and Pyramids.
FilGoal.com has also learned that the Egyptian Football Association does not object to Al Ahly's request.
Al Ahly is scheduled to play Zamalek in the sixth round of the league on Sunday, October 11, while they will face Pyramids in the ninth round on November 23.
Al Ahly is preparing to face Smouha on Thursday, the day after tomorrow, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly won their first two league matches against ZED and Enppi.
