A responsible source at Ghazl El Mahalla Club confirmed that the club's management has approved the transfer of Mahmoud Salah, the team's player, to Al Ahly Club during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The source said in exclusive statements to Yalla Koura: "Ghazl El Mahalla has approved Mahmoud Salah's departure to Al Ahly, and the player's release will be sent to the Red Club as soon as the contracts are signed."
He added: "Mahmoud Salah has become a player for Al Ahly, and he is scheduled to sign the contracts in the coming hours for a period of 5 seasons."
The source clarified that Ghazl El Mahalla achieved the maximum possible financial benefit from the deal, after agreeing with Al Ahly to receive 35 million pounds, in addition to 10 million pounds in incentives, as well as a 25% share of any future resale of the player.
He pointed out that the total value of the deal could reach around 45 million pounds if all agreed incentives are realized, excluding the resale percentage.
The source revealed that Mahmoud Salah waived 2 million pounds of his dues from Ghazl El Mahalla as part of the deal's completion and his transfer to Al Ahly.
Mahmoud Salah is expected to receive an annual salary of 7 million pounds with Al Ahly, pending final agreement on all financial details of his contract.
It was decided that the Red Giant will send the first installment for Mahmoud Salah's deal, valued at 20 million pounds, with the second installment, valued at 13 million pounds, to be paid on February 1 of next year, 2027.
Thus, Al Ahly has finalized the Mahmoud Salah deal after reaching a final agreement with Ghazl El Mahalla and sending the player's release, with the contracts to be officially signed in the coming hours.
