Koko had left Ceramica Cleopatra at the end of the season after his contract ended.
Ghazl El Mahalla had started the preparation period for the new season under the leadership of their coach Mohamed Khattab.
The 35-year-old Koko joined Ceramica Cleopatra in 2023 coming from Ismaily.
Koko participated in one match during the last season wearing the Ceramica Cleopatra jersey in the Egyptian League Cup.
