Ghazl El-Mahalla comments on Al-Ahly's offer to sign Mahmoud Salah
El-Khashab said in statements via "ON Sport" channel: "Mahmoud Salah has offers from outside Egypt, and there is also an offer from Al-Ahly club via phone and not with official papers, and negotiations and talks took place but we did not reach the end of the negotiations."
He added: "Mahmoud Salah's ambition is to play abroad and he is a project for a very big professional player and this is what we prefer, but we also care about the player's desire if there is an offer from inside Egypt but it must be suitable for the ambition of Ghazl El-Mahalla club."
He continued: "There is no player in Egypt who does not have the desire to play for Al-Ahly club."
The sports director of Ghazl El-Mahalla continued: "For the player to transfer, we must get a suitable value that befits Ghazl El-Mahalla club, and the suitable compensation is around 50 million pounds in addition to the bonus."
He continued: "There are many talks with clubs abroad but they have not reached seriousness, and there are phone calls coming to the club from Spain and other countries."
El-Khashab concluded his statements: "We will see what is best for the club and the player and then decide what will happen."
