The first-team players of Al-Ahly Club held a training session this evening, Thursday, as part of their preparations for the upcoming match against ZED, scheduled within the Egyptian Premier League competitions.

Al-Ahly will face ZED tomorrow, Friday, at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium, in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Hussein Amottah, the team's head coach, held a briefing session with the players before today's training, during which he explained various tactical and technical aspects related to match preparation.

The players performed diverse physical exercises as part of the load program designed by the coaching staff, before moving on to specialized drills. Amottah concluded the session with an intense small-sided game involving all players.

Hussein Amottah announced the squad list for tomorrow's match, which saw the return of Ahmed Reda, Omar El-Saei, and Yassin Marei, while the attacking trio of Ahmed Sayed "Zizo", Ashraf Bencharki, and Monsef Bouqarrar remained included.

The Al-Ahly squad list continued to exclude Imam Ashour due to lack of technical and physical readiness. Mohamed Magdy Afsha was also excluded due to injury, alongside Akram Tawfik and Tawfik Mohamed.

Al-Ahly had previously kicked off their Egyptian Premier League campaign with a 3-2 victory over Sharqia ENPPI, while ZED drew goalless with Wadi Degla.
