Gavi, the FC Barcelona star, broke his silence and spoke about the injury he sustained during his team's match against Elche last Sunday in the Spanish First Division league.
Gavi suffered a knee injury during the first half of the Barcelona vs. Elche match, causing the young player to fall to the ground and leave the pitch early, with Pedri coming on as his replacement.

Gavi reassured Barcelona fans in a statement via his official "Instagram" account, confirming that he is fine. He said: "Thank you to everyone who stood by my side, helped me, and supported me, and who is doing their best for me. I cannot understand football in any other way. I am sorry for causing you all this trouble."
The concern among Barcelona fans regarding Gavi stemmed from the fact that the same player had suffered an injury to the same knee three years ago, when it was revealed that the young star had a cruciate ligament injury, which kept him away from the pitch for nearly a year.
