English club Fulham is close to signing Gonzalo Garcia, the Spanish striker for Real Madrid, during the summer transfer window.
According to Spanish radio "Cadena COPE", Fulham has reached an agreement with Real Madrid regarding a deal worth a total of about 70 million euros.
Based on the agreement between the two clubs, Fulham gets 100% of the rights to the Spanish player, with Real Madrid retaining a priority option to re-sign him in the future.
This development comes amid Fulham's desire to strengthen its attacking line with a young player with great potential, while Gonzalo Garcia seeks a greater opportunity to participate regularly, after finding himself in strong competition for the striker position within Real Madrid.
Alvaro Arbeloa, Fulham's technical director, played an important role in the potential deal, as he had previously worked with Gonzalo Garcia during their time together at Real, both with the reserve team "Castilla" or the first team in the second half of last season.
Real Madrid had announced in August 2025 the extension of Gonzalo Garcia's contract until June 30, 2030.
