French club Paris FC announced today, Tuesday, the appointment of former Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior as the team's new coach.
The English coach (41 years old) assumes responsibility for coaching Paris as a successor to the Frenchman Antoine Kombouaré, who led the team to occupy 11th place in the league last season.
According to what the club announced, Rosenior's contract extends for two seasons until June 2028, and he will start his work next Thursday.
Rosenior returns to French football after his departure from Strasbourg, which he led between 2024 and 2026 before taking over Chelsea coaching last January following the departure of Enzo Maresca.
But his tenure at Stamford Bridge Stadium did not last long, as the club terminated his contract after less than 4 months despite his contract extending until 2032.
