Real Madrid reached an agreement with Fulham, stipulating the transfer of Gonzalo Garcia, the royal club's striker, to the English club during the current summer transfer window for 70 million euros.
According to "Cadena COPE" radio, Real Madrid retains the right to buy back the player, who participated in 39 matches with the first team last season, scoring eight goals, six of which in the Spanish league.
With Gonzalo's departure, Real Madrid continues its revenue-generating path thanks to players developed in the "La Fábrica" academy (the club's youth academy).
In addition to the 70 million euros the royal club will receive for the striker, it has also profited from the sales of Nico Paz (60 million euros), Víctor Muñoz (20 million euros), Álvaro Rodríguez (12.5 million euros), Rafael Marín (15 million euros), Álex Jiménez (12.5 million euros), Mario Martín (3.5 million euros), and Fran García (4 million euros).
This will be the third time Gonzalo plays under Álvaro Arbeloa, Fulham's new coach, having been coached by him previously in Real Madrid's reserve team and first team, and now the third stop will be in the Premier League.
Once officially completed, this deal is expected to revive the hopes of young Brazilian Endrick, who is looking to earn a spot at Real Madrid after being loaned to Lyon midway through last season.
