The French site Foot Mercato revealed that Trabzonspor is close to signing Mohamed Salah, the former Liverpool player.

According to the site, Trabzon exploited the failure of Beşiktaş's negotiations with Salah and entered into negotiations with his agent and came close to reaching a final agreement.
Beşiktaş club had previously announced that negotiations with Salah had stopped due to his agent's high demands.
Salah's name has also been linked with joining Al-Ittihad Jeddah in recent days following the failure of negotiations with Beşiktaş.
Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season.
