FC Barcelona completed two notable signings in the final hours of the summer transfer window, which has just closed, as the Blaugrana were highly active.
Barcelona officially secured the signing of Gabriel Jesus yesterday from Arsenal, on a three-year contract until the end of June 2029.
Barcelona also secured two future signings: the loan of Mirza Katovic from Stuttgart, with an option for the Blaugrana to make the transfer permanent, and the signing of young center-back Mikael Baza from Hamburg.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Hans Flick personally intervened to finalize the signing of Mikael Baza, a 16-year-old who is the cousin of Bayern Munich star Jonathan Tah.
The report added that Baza resembles Tah in his tall stature, physical strength, speed, and left-footedness, while the young player had one year remaining on his contract with Hamburg.
It was explained that Baza sought to wear the Barcelona shirt, and the Blaugrana paid Hamburg €250,000 to sign him, along with other bonuses, as he will play for the Spanish club's youth team.
Mundo Deportivo discussed Barcelona's signing of Katovic, who will join the club's second team, "Atletic." The 19-year-old left-footed midfielder fits the Blaugrana's philosophy, as he is adept at controlling the ball, reads spaces well, and can also play in defensive positions.
Katovic made 29 appearances for Stuttgart in the third division last season and won the European Championship with the Germany U19 national team.
