Ertugrul Dogan, president of the Turkish club Trabzonspor, made important statements about the expected deals to strengthen the first team, foremost among them the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah.
Numerous reports indicated that Trabzonspor entered into negotiations with Mohamed Salah, at a time when the player is still searching for his next move after leaving Liverpool.

Trabzonspor president spoke, during statements reported by the Turkish newspaper "A Spor", about the latest developments regarding Salah's transfer to the team during the current summer transfer window.
Ertugrul Dogan said: "Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the history of the English Premier League, and who wouldn't want to sign him? But I confirm that there is no agreement at all."
He added: "In any case, there are no travel plans for new players to Trabzon tomorrow; if there was any agreement, the press and fans would have been informed."
He continued: "Of course, our fans wish to see Mohamed Salah in the Trabzonspor team during the new season, but there is no agreement at the moment."
When asked about the positions Trabzonspor will strengthen, he replied: "We will strengthen positions according to technical needs; we want a team that combines young talents and experienced players."
He added: "We discuss this matter with coach Fatih three to four times a day; we have a work plan and are proceeding with it smoothly. We may see additional reinforcements of two or three players."
He noted: "I know what everyone has in mind, and we all share the same goal: competing for the title. Last season was the first season of restructuring. We won the cup in the first season. Success is always winning the championship, but I believe our coach and players achieved great success."
Trabzonspor president pointed out: "We made deals that attracted the attention of all European clubs; before the start of the new season, we want to address all our weaknesses and form a team capable of competing for the title."
He continued: "Tomorrow we celebrate the 50th anniversary of winning the championship and the 59th anniversary of the club's founding; we also hope to announce important matters, not regarding transfers, but regarding commercial affairs."
