Zamalek's technical director, Gamal, expressed his happiness with achieving victory against Al-Ahly Bank, emphasizing that all matches are difficult, especially as the team is going through challenging circumstances, with variations in player form and luck.
Gamal said during the post-match press conference: "We started the previous match against Al-Ittihad well but missed many opportunities. In today's match against Al-Ahly Bank, the first-half performance was not up to the required standard."
He added: "We made some adjustments in the second half against Al-Ahly Bank; we appeared better and delivered a good 45 minutes. We hope for improved performance throughout both halves in upcoming matches."
He continued: "Luck favored us regarding the substitutions made during the match. I substituted Ahmed Fathou at halftime because he received a yellow card in the first half, alongside replacing some players due to fatigue."
He further stated: "Matches help players return to match fitness. We work on correcting mistakes and negatives that appear during confrontations; this is very normal. Luck was on Zamalek's side in today's encounter."

He added: "Chico Banza is participating in matches gradually and will receive more playing time in upcoming games, especially since he is one of the team's key elements."
The Zamalek coach concluded his remarks by saying: "It is very likely that some players may not perform well after a long break. I trust my team's players and bet on their ability to achieve the league title."
