A financial crisis between the agent of Brazilian Juan Bezerra and Zamalek club caused communication between the two parties to stop during the past days, despite the approaching start of the preparation period for the new season.

And FilGoal.com learned that Bezerra has ignored calls from Zamalek officials for a week, due to a crisis related to the financial dues owed to his agent.
The crisis began some time ago, after Zamalek completed payment of all the player's dues, in addition to the dues of his former club, while his agent demanded to receive the financial percentage due to him after completing the deal procedures.
Zamalek began communicating with Bezerra's agent to settle his dues and end the crisis definitively, in preparation for closing the file completely.
At the same time, the Zamalek board of directors officially notified the player of the start date of the preparation period for the new season, in order to join the team's training sessions.

Bezerra played 44 matches with Zamalek club, scoring 8 goals and providing 12 assists in various competitions.
The Brazilian won the Egyptian League title with Zamalek last season and contributed to the league championship by scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Zamalek announced that the team's training camp will begin on Friday, July 31, in preparation for the 2026-2027 season.
Zamalek coach Moataz Jamal notified the players of the date for undergoing medical examinations over the next Thursday and Saturday in order to complete medical tests for all players before the start of the preparation period.
Zamalek indicated that this comes within the arrangements made by the technical staff to ensure the players' medical and physical readiness before the start of training in preparation for the new season.
