Via FilGoal

FIFA announced a new registration ban case against Zamalek Club.

FIFA revealed a new case against Zamalek dated today, Friday, July 24, 2026.

FIFA did not announce the details of the case, which resulted in a registration ban penalty for 3 periods.

Zamalek Club announced via its "Zamlkawy" app the resolution of all FIFA cases related to the African license for participation in the African Champions League next season.

The African license is linked to the cases for which rulings were issued until March 31, 2026.

The final deadline for obtaining the African license was July 25 of this month.

Thus, Zamalek has only one remaining case related to the disciplinary registration ban in the case of Moroccan Salah Eddine Msaddek, which does not affect obtaining the African license.

Zamalek participates in the African Champions League as the champion of the Egyptian League.

Zamalek returns to participate in the Champions League after an absence of 3 years, during which it competed in the Confederation, winning the title in 2024 and losing the 2026 final.
