Moroccan Hussein Amouta, the technical director of Al Ahly Club's first football team, has settled on the team's squad for the new season.
Al Ahly is holding a preparatory camp in Spain from August 6 to 19 of the current month.
Amouta has also settled on the departure of some players: Mohamed Sherif, Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed, Ashraf Dari, Reda Slim, and Mohamed El Daoui Christo.
Al Ahly is seeking to reach a settlement with the duo Ashraf Dari and Mohamed Christo, while there are some offers for Reda Slim that are being discussed.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly awaits Mohamed Sherif's departure either via loan or final sale, due to the club's inability to terminate his contract, which runs for another 4 years.
Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed has also left Al Ahly's ranks after returning from his loan with Ceramica Cleopatra.
Al Ahly continues its search for a foreign midfielder, in addition to a new defender, during the ongoing transfer window.
