Farouk Jafar, former Zamalek star and father of "Seif," a player for the team, revealed the details of the crisis involving his son.

Seif Jafar has been left out of Zamalek's technical plans and is undergoing individual training.

Speaking on MBC Masr 2, Farouk Jafar said: "Seif Jafar was registered on the first squad list. Four days before the start of the league, I was surprised to learn that Zamalek wanted him to leave. He was told that he must either leave by mutual consent or go out on loan."

He added: "I contacted Abd El-Nasser Mohamed, the team manager, and informed him that the timing was inappropriate, especially since all teams had closed their lists. Moreover, Zamalek is facing a registration crisis, so what is the reason for Seif's departure?"

He continued: "Abd El-Nasser Mohamed said that the club wants him to leave. To this day, I do not know who made this decision, and I do not like to interfere in anyone's work."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "More importantly, Seif Jafar is not training with the team; instead, he is training alone at 1:00 PM."

Seif Jafar is 26 years old. He was promoted to the first team in 2019 and went out on loan to Smouha.

He then left Zamalek for free and joined Pyramids before returning to the Whites.
