The official account of the English Premier League Fantasy game made sure to send a message to Egyptian star Mohamed Salah before the start of the new 2026/27 Premier League season.
The new Premier League season kicks off on Friday evening, with the first match taking place between Arsenal and Coventry City at the "Emirates" stadium.
This season marks the first in the English Premier League without Mohamed Salah since the summer of 2017, after he officially left Liverpool last June and subsequently joined Trabzonspor.

The official Fantasy Premier League account wrote on the X app: "We are starting a Fantasy Premier League season without Mohamed Salah for the first time in nearly ten years."
It added: "A moment of appreciation for the third-highest points scorer in the game's history, Mohamed Salah."
