Vinicius Junior's name had been linked to a move to Arsenal due to his rejection of contract renewal terms with Real Madrid.
Michael Yormark, president of Roc Nation Sports International agency, said in an official statement: "We cannot stand idly by when unprofessional and uninformed media outlets publish false and harmful information aimed at attracting attention".
He added, "This is unacceptable, especially when it targets our players personally without any basis, which is annoying and harmful and may amount to defamation".
He continued, "Media outlets and journalists must bear greater responsibility".
These statements come amid reports of stalled negotiations to renew Vinicius's contract with Real Madrid, which has attracted Arsenal's interest.
For his part, Mikel Arteta said: "We are working on improving and developing the team, and we expect moves in the coming weeks".
He added, "We want to become better like the rest of the clubs, and the transfer market is witnessing great activity".
He concluded, "I do not want to comment on the possibility of signing Vinicius Junior or any other player not in my team".
Press reports had linked Arsenal to signing Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, alongside interest in signing Julian Alvarez during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal seeks to continue competing for titles in the new season after winning the Premier League title and reaching the Champions League final last season, before losing the title.
The Brazilian international's contract with the Royal Club expires in the summer of 2027, opening the door to speculation about his future.
Vinicius Junior's future as a Real Madrid player remains unknown, especially amid the club's interest in signing Leipzig's German winger Yan Diomande in the ongoing summer transfer window.
