Fabrizio Romano reveals the reason for Beşiktaş denying the signing of Salah

Via Yallakora

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano elaborated on the next destination of Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, following the official end of his stint with English club Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah is currently searching for a new club to represent in the upcoming season, after Liverpool became part of his past. Despite multiple interests in the player, the Egyptian international has not yet decided his destination.

Mohamed Salah has recently been linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas, a matter confirmed by one journalist, before the club issued an official statement affirming that the deal has not been completed to date.

Where is Mohamed Salah heading?

Fabrizio Romano revealed, during an appearance in a video clip on his personal account, the reason behind Besiktas denying the Turkish journalist who indicated an agreement with Mohamed Salah.

Fabrizio Romano said in a video clip: "Why is Besiktas denying the news? And why is Besiktas issuing official statements? The reason Besiktas denied the news of Salah's transfer is that Besiktas has not yet completed the Salah deal."

Romano added: "Until the deal is closed, the contract is signed between Salah and Besiktas, and all procedures are completed, they must exercise caution, and this is completely normal."

He continued: "Besiktas is certainly negotiating with Salah, and there are indeed talks. They have sent an offer to Salah, but before we say that the Salah deal has been done, or that the deal has been finalized, and that he will leave for medical examinations or any other procedures, we must wait until an official agreement is reached."

He went on: "Until this evening, we still have to wait for the next steps before saying that Salah has become a new player at Besiktas, so we must wait, and at the appropriate time, I will update you on the latest developments regarding Salah."

He concluded: "Salah also has offers on the table from the American league, and offers from Saudi Arabia, while Besiktas wants to exercise caution until it reaches a complete agreement with the player."
