The deadline set by the Egyptian Football Association, which was granted to some clubs to submit the required documents to complete the licensing procedures for participation in continental championships, has ended.

The Egyptian Football Association had notified 8 clubs by opening the licensing system on the African Football Confederation "CAF" platform.

End of the Football Association's deadline for clubs regarding licenses

The Egyptian Football Association notified 8 clubs by opening the licensing system on the "CAF" platform to complete the procedures for granting the license to participate in African competitions, provided that the deadline ends today, Saturday, at exactly 12 noon.

The Football Association notified the first 7 clubs in the final standings of the Egyptian Premier League, Zamalek, Pyramids, Al-Ahly, Ceramica Cleopatra, Al-Masry, Enppi and Smouha, in addition to the Zed team, runner-up in the Egyptian Cup.

The Football Association had requested the clubs to submit responses and documents regarding all judgments and decisions issued against them by the Players' Status Committee and the judicial bodies of the International Football Association "FIFA", and also regarding the judgments issued by the Court of Arbitration for Sport "CAS".

The Association requested the clubs to attach proof of any legal procedures taken by the club, including appeals or objections submitted regarding those judgments, within the requirements of the licensing system approved by the African Football Confederation.
