A source within the Egyptian national team revealed the status of Al-Ahly Club midfielder Iman Eshour regarding his inclusion in the Pharaohs' squad for the upcoming camp, scheduled to begin on September 21 of this month.

The Egyptian national team is set to enter a closed camp starting this September, where they will face Angola and South Sudan on the 25th and 29th of the same month, respectively, in addition to playing a friendly match against South Africa on October 4.

Iman Eshour's status regarding the Egyptian national team's friendlies

The source noted in statements to Youla Kora that Iman Eshour is considered a fundamental pillar in the Egyptian national team, pointing to his role with the Pharaohs in the recent World Cup.

The source clarified that there is continuous follow-up with Iman Eshour regarding his status for participating in upcoming matches with Al-Ahly Club.

He added: "Iman Eshour played the full 90 minutes for Al-Ahly in yesterday's friendly match against Team FC, so he is largely physically ready."

The source concluded on this matter: "We hope Iman Eshour plays for Al-Ahly to prepare him for the upcoming matches, especially before the match against Angola."

It is worth noting that the Football Association had previously announced the renewal of the contract for the Egyptian national team's technical staff, led by Hossam Hassan and his brother Ibrahim Hassan, the team manager, until 2030.
