A source within the Egyptian Football Association revealed that there is a comparison between Abdul Satar Sabry, the head coach of the Egypt U-17 national team (born in 2009), and Mahmoud Fath, a former Zamalek player.
The Egyptian Football Association board had previously approved the formation of a team for players born in 2010 to participate in the North Africa Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The North Africa Youth Championship is scheduled to take place next October, with the technical staff lineup to be approved at the next meeting.
The source confirmed in statements to Yalla Kora that Mahmoud Fath held a meeting with Shouki Gharib at the Football Association recently to discuss his approach to managing this age group.
The source added that the Association’s board aims to finalize the selection of the head coach in the coming months in order to complete the rest of the technical staff.
