A source within Zamalek Club revealed updates on the crisis involving Brazilian player Juan Bezerra, following his refusal to return to Cairo to rejoin team training.

The Zamalek source confirmed that the club is handling its Brazilian player, Juan Bezerra, a member of the first football team, in a legal manner and according to established procedures applicable in similar cases involving a player's prolonged absence from team training.

The source stated in exclusive remarks to Batootat that the club is acting in a way that preserves Zamalek's rights, especially since the player remains bound by a contract with the White Castle extending for the next three years, and any penalties imposed on the player are applied in accordance with regulations.

The source emphasized that the serious and correct steps taken by Zamalek will leave the player with no option but to return, comply with his contract terms, and participate in matches and training sessions. This outcome would represent a major success for the board of directors chaired by Captain Hussein Labib, given that the board's position has been clear and publicly declared since the beginning of the player's absence: there is no alternative to his return, regular participation in team training, and full compliance with his contract with the club.

The source concluded his statements by affirming that there is no truth to rumors suggesting that Zamalek decided to pay Bezira's salary for the upcoming month of September to prevent the player from filing a complaint against the club.
