Essam Abdel Fattah, head of the referees committee, clarified that the new amendments to the football law will be applied in the next season of the local competitions.

Essam Abdel Fattah, head of the referees committee, said to FilGoal.com: "The referees' camp for the new season starts tomorrow, Sunday, and we will inform them of the new amendments to the football law".
He added, "In the first lecture for the referees, we will explain the new amendments to the articles of the law, which we will be able to implement with certainty".
He revealed, "There are amendments that must be made with the approval of the competitions committee, so we will hold a session with them because there are 3 amendments that must be added to the regulations in order to implement them".
He continued, "Among them, for example, is the referees' camera, which the competitions committee is supposed to contract for".
He concluded, "There is also a clause regarding a team's withdrawal or a player's departure from the field in protest of the referee's decision, which must be included in the regulations".

The draw for the Egyptian League for the new season is scheduled to be held next Wednesday, corresponding to August 5.
Al-Zamalek had won the Egyptian League title during the past season, while Pyramids won the Egypt Cup.
