Enrique said in an interview he conducted with the official website of the European Football Union "UEFA": "I have no doubts that the European Super Cup is a very important tournament, and that Aston Villa will be a strong competitor, if we look at the English Premier League, there are five or perhaps six Spanish coaches in the best teams".
He added: "I think Spanish football is at the top of world football in all respects, whether at the level of players, coaches or managers, our playing style is based on presenting enjoyable football, we are constantly looking for the ball, and possessing it represents our priority, and through possession we adapt to the requirements of defensive solidity, I think it is a wonderful moment for Spanish football at the global level, and we should feel proud of that".
He continued: "There is no doubt that the project here is the project that I was the most convinced and enthusiastic about as a coach, I hope to stay here for many more years".
Paris Saint-Germain coach concluded: "It is wonderful to start every season with the support of the club, the fans and the board of directors, I expect to give everything I have, it will be very difficult to continue winning, but we will not leave anything to chance".
