Emad El-Nahas, the former technical director of Al-Masry Port Said, revealed the truth about rumors suggesting he will take over as the head coach of the Egypt Olympic team in the coming days.

El-Nahas stated in an interview with MBC Masr channel: "I wanted to sign my son for Al-Masry, and the matter was closed within five minutes. He is a product of Al-Ahly's youth system up to the age of 19, and his last season was with Ceramica Cleopatra."

He added: "My son was with me at Al-Ahly, and I made him leave Al-Ahly so he could have a better opportunity elsewhere. During Marcel Koller's tenure, he was with the first team. He is a respectable player and is currently signed with a club."

He continued: "My son is currently enrolled in three dental programs, and I want him to be based at a club in Cairo. I offered Al-Masry the chance to sign my son last July, and the matter ended there. Why are some people trying to tarnish my reputation?"

He concluded: "What has Emad El-Nahas done to Al-Masry to deserve such defamation? I brought a championship title to the club after 28 years, and no one has spoken to me about taking charge of the Olympic team."
