Emad El-Nahas, the former head coach of El Masry, revealed that the late arrival of the foreign players to his team's camp and the signing of contracts just days before the start of the league affected the team's performance in the initial rounds.
El-Nahas said via MBC Masr 2: "The foreign players joined El Masry's preparation camp at its end, and striker Ali Soliman joined the team just four days before the league started."
He added, "El Masry signed with Khair Eddin Talal and Ziani just ten days before the league started."
He continued, "I know the responsible person who made statements about me and caused my departure from El Masry; the first letter of his name is 'M'."
He concluded his remarks by saying, "Emad El-Nahas's name is engraved in the history of El Masry Club, and this is an honor for me."
El-Nahas officially left his position as El Masry's coach, becoming the first manager to depart this season.
Emad El-Nahas led El Masry to victories in the first two rounds of the league before suffering a defeat in the third round against Pyramids.
Ahmed Sami took over in his place and will lead El Masry in domestic competitions.
