Al-Ahly concluded their second-round matches with a 2-0 victory over ZED FC in a match held at Cairo International Stadium for the 2026-27 season.
This round also saw Zamalek defeat National Bank of Egypt 3-0, while Pyramids FC beat Abu Qir Fertilizers 2-0.
Four clubs managed to maintain their winning streak for the second consecutive week: Pyramids FC, Al-Ahly, Tala'ea El Gaish, and Al-Masry.
Zamalek also secured their first league victory in the new season edition, following a goalless draw with Alexandria United in the first round.
On the other hand, five clubs failed to earn any points after two rounds: Arab Contractors, Sharqia, ENPPI, National Bank of Egypt, and Ghazl El Mahalla.
