Ibrahim Hassan, Egypt national team manager, announced the departure time from Atlanta city to return to Cairo after bidding farewell to the 2026 World Cup tournament.
The Egyptian national team bid farewell from the round of 16 in the World Cup in a dramatic scenario against Argentina after losing 3-2.
Egypt had been leading 2-0 until the 79th minute, after which the match turned against the Pharaohs and went to Argentina, who scored 3 goals in about 14 minutes amid refereeing controversy that shook the whole world.
Ibrahim Hassan said in statements via the official website of the Football Association that the national team delegation will depart from Atlanta city in the United States of America at exactly four o'clock in the afternoon Atlanta time, eleven o'clock in the evening Cairo time.
He added that the return trip to Cairo will take more than 12 hours.
The Football Association had announced the renewal of the contract of the twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan until 2030 after the historic achievement in the World Cup.
