The Egyptian youth women's handball team lost to Denmark in the match held between them today, Sunday, as part of the World Cup under-18 competitions currently taking place in Romania.
The Egyptian team faced its Danish counterpart in a match to determine the third and fourth places, the "bronze medal" match of the World Youth Handball Championship.
The match ended with Denmark defeating Egypt by a score of (23-19).

Thus, the Egyptian youth team concludes its campaign in the World Handball Cup in fourth place, a historic achievement achieved for the first time in the history of the Pharaohs' participation in the World Championship.
The Egyptian youth team had achieved a historic feat by reaching the semi-final round of the World Handball Championship after securing 6 consecutive victories, before losing in the semi-final to Spain.
