Signing Ivorian Yan Diomande, Leipzig's star, has become more complicated than Real Madrid expected.
The "Defensa Central" network reported an unexpected development that displeased the Royal club's management, which felt dissatisfied after discovering a "deception" operation.
Until now, Real Madrid had been negotiating with Roc Nation agency to complete the Diomande deal. However, according to Ivorian journalist Malik Traore, this agency is not the player's sole representative, as he remains under contract with another agency, which could complicate the negotiations.
Traore said, "Real Madrid was angered by Diomande's representatives at Roc Nation agency after discovering that the player is still linked to a contract with other agents."
The report clarified that the club's anger is directed at Roc Nation agency, not at Diomande himself, for withholding this information.
The information indicates that the player remains under contract with Maxidel agency, meaning Real Madrid will also have to negotiate with it after only learning of the arrangement once the matter came to light.
According to the report, Real Madrid had reached a near-complete agreement with Roc Nation and the player regarding his transfer, with only negotiations with Leipzig over the transfer fee remaining, which will not be low.
Yet the involvement of Maxidel agency has created a new obstacle for the Royal club.
The information states that the agency holds Diomande's representation rights until his departure from Leipzig, requiring Real Madrid to reach an agreement with it as well, which could raise the deal's cost and make the signing process more complex.
The obstacles did not end there, as Leipzig also appears determined to complicate Diomande's departure this summer.
According to the report, the German club is sticking to its high financial demands, exceeding 100 million euros, and has no intention of offering Real Madrid any discount.
