The Supreme Council for Media Regulation issued a decision regarding one of the programs on Al-Ahly Channel during the current period.
The Supreme Council decided to summon the legal representative of Al-Ahly Channel to attend a hearing session due to one episode of the program "Here is Al-Ahly," presented by Ahmed Bilal.
A statement from the Supreme Council for Media Regulation clarified that the summons was issued due to what the council considered a violation of media codes.
The summons decision came based on the findings of the General Directorate of Monitoring at the Supreme Council for Media Regulation and the Committee for Regulating Sports Media Performance, chaired by Counselor Abdelsalam El-Naggar, a council member and Deputy Chairman of the State Council.
The Complaints Committee, chaired by Essam El-Amir, the council's deputy chairman, clarified that the decision to summon the legal representative of Al-Ahly Channel aims to discuss the content mentioned in the monitored episode.
