Liverpool have finalized a new signing during the current summer transfer window, as the Reds seek to strengthen their squad with players in the attacking line to compensate for Mohamed Salah, who left the English club at the end of last season.

Romano confirmed via his official account on the "X" platform that Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Barcola, for an initial fee of £100 million.
Romano added that the value of Barcola's transfer, including add-ons and bonuses, will reach £140 million, with the contract to be signed within the next 24 hours.
He concluded by stating that Barcola was Liverpool's top target to strengthen the winger position, and the Reds have achieved their goal.
Barcola can play on both the right and left wings and possesses great potential, but his reduced role at Paris Saint-Germain prompted him to request a move from the French capital club and seek a new destination in his football career.
