Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi, technical director of Tottenham Hotspur's first football team, sparked controversy over his approaching signing of a deal described as "another bomb."
De Zerbi took charge of Tottenham Hotspur in the final rounds of last season in the English Premier League and managed to save them from relegation to the Championship.
The summer transfer window is witnessing unprecedented activity for Tottenham, as the team has signed 6 deals, most notably Matheus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
De Zerbi was asked whether there was any player he wanted to sign that the club rejected: "No, not at the moment, but the transfer market has certainly not ended."
He stressed: "We have completed 60% of our project in the transfer market, and now we have another important attacking deal."
He continued in statements to "The Athletic": "I consider the attacking deal to be another bomb in the transfer market; I hope we finalize it soon."

He added: "In the transfer market, when I want to sign any player, I become like a shark; there is no room for refusal."
He continued: "I love working in the transfer market; it is not pressure at all, but rather one of the most beautiful aspects of my job."
Savinho, Manchester City's player, is considered one of the most prominent players approaching wearing the Tottenham Hotspur shirt next season, but according to what was reported in "The Athletic," the deal De Zerbi is referring to is another attacking deal.
Previous reports had indicated the possibility of Tottenham signing Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, given that he did not play regularly with Manchester City last season.
Marmoush's playing style and approach suit the Italian coach's philosophy, so he could be the deal De Zerbi spoke about.
