The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association revealed the refereeing decisions in the matches between Zamalek and National Bank of Egypt, and Pyramids FC and Abu Qir Fertilizers, during the second round of the Egyptian Premier League "Ora League."
The Referees Committee clarified that the match between Pyramids FC and Abu Qir Fertilizers witnessed a missed red card situation by both the match referee and the VAR technology, due to violent play by Mahmoud Zalaka of Pyramids FC against an Abu Qir player.
The Referees Committee also addressed the case of Ahmed Fathouh, a player for Zamalek, who received a yellow card in the 26th minute of the match against National Bank of Egypt, which ended with a 3-0 victory for Zamalek.

The Referees Committee indicated that after Fathouh received the yellow card, video review and analysis showed that the foul was committed negligently, as the hand did not reach the face but rather pushed on the shoulder.
The Referees Committee confirmed in their analysis that it was a negligent foul by player number 13 "Fathouh," and no yellow card should have been issued in this situation.
